Mohamed Osman had typical childhood fantasies about what he wanted to be when he grew up. First, there was the classic astronaut, explorer, business leader, or military person. Looking back, he laughs at how stupid and simplistic his assumptions were when Osman was a child. Regardless, life has taken Mohamed to where he is today: a successful software engineer in charge of some fantastic digital tools in production and being used.

However, Osman's current position did not come about overnight. Unlike in the movies, a lifetime career takes years to develop, depending on numerous decisions, choices, actions, and outcomes. Mohamed worked his way up for at least a quarter-century.
